Helping people maximise their potiential...

Dementia does not mean that quality of life has to diminish. It is the start of another chapter in yours or your loved ones life, which I aim to help you to enhance and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns in communication and to help everyone to adapt to new circumstances.

Delivering support with passion, putting the person living with dementia at the heart of the service

Supporting Families

Families live with a great number of day to day challenges when living with someone who has dementia. From signposting to a listening ear, support is available for relatives and friends too.

Types of Dementia

Alzheimer’s disease, the most common type of dementia, caused by the buildup of amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles in the brain.

Vascular dementia, the second most common type of dementia, caused by reduced blood flow to the brain due to strokes or other vascular problems.

Dementia with Lewy bodies, a form of dementia caused by abnormal deposits of the protein alpha-synuclein, called Lewy bodies, in the brain.

Parkinson’s disease, a movement disorder that can also cause dementia in later stages, due to the loss of dopamine-producing neurons in the brain.
